Elena Guida

Elena Guida is a PhD student at the Bicocca Child&Baby Lab, Department of Psychology, University of Milano-Bicocca, supervised by prof. Chiara Turati. Her research aims to investigate the early socio-cognitive development, with a particular emphasis on the impact of the relational context on infants’ attentive, social and communicative behaviours. More specifically, her research considers parents’ and infants’ affective perception and biobehavioural features related to interpersonal contingencies occurring during dyadic and triadic interactions.

Before starting her PhD, Elena collaborated as Research Assistant at the “0-3 Center for the at-risk infant” at the E. Medea Research Institute, within the Bosisio Parini Hospital, developing projects about mother-infant relationship in the context of neurodevelopmental disorders.

Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and a Master’s degree in Clinical, Developmental Psychology and Neuropsychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
